Halloween and Girl Guide Cookies.

Have you ever noticed on Halloween that some neighbors lock their doors and turn off the lights? What is the matter with them, stingy? Not me. When I was young, I always went out on Halloween and came home with a bag of treasure. It was one of the things we looked forward to. So now, I have the lights on and am prepared. Children’s memories for later on.

The same goes for Girl Guides. When one comes to the door with cookies, I’m there with the money. I was in the Boy Scouts and went door to door selling apples. I was always happy to get that ten cents. It’d great to see their smiles.
