The Biden Campaign

The Democrat campaign reminds me of Biden driving a car. The reporters are pushing the car, the Democrat party is pulling the car, Biden is sitting in the car without his hands on the wheel, while someone unseen is steering the car, mostly to the left. 

Nobel Prize

My son, at work this morning, was on the phone with someone from Israel and Bahrain at the same time. I think he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.  

Swedish TV

Watched the Swedish series 'Rebecka Martinsson'. Lots of snow, dogs, saunas and sex on kitchen countertops.

COVID-19

The Americans, instead of getting a hold of this virus by the throat, they keep inviting it to parties.

Business On The Rise

I just read a news article on an expanding business in Turkey. Dismantling cruise ships. I can certainly see how that came about

Suspense

 

I like suspense in a book but not in real life.

Makeup Sales

Lipstick sales are non-existent, while eye makeup sales have gone thru the roof.

War Movies

 

I just realized that in concentration camp movies, the people are not thin enough.

Sore Ribs

Can you imagine? Breaking my ribs apart to get at the heart and then bringing them back and tying them together with a piece of wire. 

Surgery Wow!

 

The description of the surgery is enough to give me heart failure.

Open Heart Surgery

 

Interviews done, all tests done, waiting for date for my open heart surgery.

Riches to Rags

When I see people walk around with ripped jeans, holes in the knees, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I don't know if they are naive or just plain stupid. I can't imagine someone paying top dollar to buy rags and then wear them. It seems when celebrities are your Gods, you will follow them anywhere. When I was young, parents and grand-parents made sure their children were dressed properly, as best they could afford. They would be ashamed to see how their grand-kids have turned out. Step back and take a look - you're wearing rags. 

Gone to Darkness (Sydney Rose Parnell, #4) by Barbara Nickless

It was a great story. Too bad the author had to resort to such vulgar language. The vulgarity in the banter was unnatural. You don't need it when the story is good. You have to stay away from this book if foul language offends you. Four stars instead of five.
