Gunga Din

 In a number of John Wayne western movies, he has three Sgt's who are always acting like fools. As I was flipping through channels today, I saw an old movie from 1939 called Gunga Din. There they were, three Sgt's acting like fools. 

If you walk around with holes in your jeans, I guess you can walk around with holes in your socks. Perhaps it would compliment the holes in your head.

Have you ever noticed that for the most part our thoughts are not realistic and some not even appropriate.

Watching the NEWS this morning and I wasn't sure if she said: "We will have that alive for you at 11 this morning" or "We'll have that lie for you at 11 this morning".

They will need a time machine in the future so they can come back to this era to find out what happened and then can put it in the history books.

Christmas Lights

The other day I put the lights on my Christmas tree out front. It's about 6' high now. I used to have a tree out there that was about 20' high but it was blown over in a hurricane. 

Songs

I heard a song on the radio and my first thought was that this guy was desperate to find words that rhymed. The first stanza was " Howdy. Howdy. It looks like it's going be cloudy" The second stanza started, "Howdy. Howdy. I've got a dog named Rowdy." After that, I forgot to pay attention to the rest of the words.
