INTERNAL ALARM

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is look at the clock. If it is around 6am, I try for more sleep. If it is around 7am, it's time to think about getting up. The next thing I do is weigh myself. I lost 17 lbs. after my heart operation and I don't want it back. I want to stay below 170. No need in dragging around an extra 15 lbs. This morning it was 169.0. That's good. Usually it's that or below. I have yet to hit 170. That would be panic time.

Snowplows

This morning, between 2 and 3, a snowplow went by 6 times. My God! We only had 2 inches of snow. When we have 2 feet they are nowhere in sight.

VISA

Got a call this morning at 6:30. It was about my VISA card. A kind gentleman from India wanted to warn me that someone was making charges to my card. So thoughtful. I wish I had his phone number so I could show him how thankful I was and call him at 6:30 AM his time.

I wake up in the morning with great intentions, then reality sets in...

In this case, I was going to cut the grass this morning but then saw that it rained last night. You know what? I can't be sure I would really have cut the grass.
